The Name?
In the early freelance days, it was just me and a free-roam bunny named Romeo hanging out in my Knoxville, TN apartment.
One afternoon he hopped into my lap while looking at me smiling with his puffy Bunny cheeks.
I looked at him and said out loud: "Romeo, you look like a jolly woolly mammoth." Then I just sat there for a second.
Jolly. Mammoth. A lightbulb went off.
Romeo had that energy every single day without trying, and when people met him, they lit up. He passed away suddenly not long after. but the vision was planted and it carries on today.
We began in 2021 as a notebook on a kitchen table, offering freelance copywriting for ESG and sustainability brands that needed clarity in how they communicated their work.
